Earlier this year, Congress passed and President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act into Law.
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 contains targeted efforts in clean, efficient, American energy; transforming our economy with science and technology; modernizing roads, bridges, transit and waterways; education for the 21st century; lowering healthcare costs; helping workers hurt by the economy; and protecting vital services. It also contains tax cuts for 95% of Americans and is expected to create or save 8,500 jobs just in the 23rd District of Texas.
I have included resources below to help the communities in the 23rd District of Texas take full advantage of the funding that will be available through a variety of agencies. If you have any questions or need any additional information feel free to contact my office at 202-225-4511.
This information will be updated as additional resources are available.
